About me

I have been living in Beijing for a few years. With my corporate experience especially in Marketing, I launched a wedding business in Switzerland sourcing bridal dresses to sell in Europe – www.meinBrautkleid.ch. Following the success of this business, I have launched a pearl and gemstone business - www.meinePerlen.ch

The natural abundance of pearls and gemstones found in China has deepened my interest to pursue the study of pearls and gemstone extensively. I graduated from Gemology at the Gemmological Association of Great Britain GEM-A in cooperation with the Beijing Gemology School at the University of Geo Sciences.

Further to this, I took a pearl intensive study at the Gemological Institute of American GIA and travelled to South of China to visit fresh water pearl farms to learn about the process of how pearls are cultivated. I made a trip to the International Pearl Trading Market where most of Hong Qiao pearls are sourced.
